Another Project

We have 2 parts to our basement - this was added on in the 50's when they put an addition on the house. We have been using it as our storage room and it was being overtaken! So we decided to make some sort of shelving unit. John ended up doing a great job and I think it turned out even better than either of us had hoped. And the cost was very minimal considering plastic or metal shelving at Home Depot.

Here is a shot of the basement all cleaned out (all of our stuff is piled in the other part of the basement.) All of the shelving was here when we bought the place.

The beginning of the frame

Starting to take shape...

Lots of cutting out in our breezeway - good thing it was a nice day!

The finished product!!! Wowee!!
It's huge!
And we even have some room left over!
