Every 3rd Tuesday, our MUMS group does a special get-together. For April, we had a local fireman come and share with the kids fire safety and escape route ideas. He brought a bunch of his equipment and even put it on for the kids. He did a very good job of explaining the importance of safety. After he was done talking, he took us all out in the parking lot and showed the kids a firetruck. They loved being up close and touching it :) 
I wish I would have gotten a better picture of all the kids next to the truck. I think they were getting pretty squirmy and my camera didn't reload in time :( Oh well.
