Valentine's Day

Last year, me and some friends sent our hubbies on a scavenger hunt for V-day so this year they sent us on a 'strolling thru memory lane' day :) We all met at Old Central School and were given a handful of numbered envelopes.

Into the car us girls went trying to figure out our first clue...not too hard since they were movie tickets. We went to 'New in Town' which was pretty cute. After that each envelope had a place written on it and we were supposed to figure out who had something special happen there with their hubbies. Example: My clue was the tattoo parlor where John had my name tattooed on his ring finger in place of a wedding band. So that was a lot of fun and each of us were video recorded with why that place had been special. The last clue led us to a change of clothes our hubbies had picked out and then on to Peterson's for ending the evening out. When we arrived at Kelly's, we saw the guys all dressed up and tons and tons of food they had pretty much made from scratch! I wish I would have taken more pictures....especially of the food... yum!!! We had appetizers, a wonderful salad, chicken with veggies for main dish & blondie brownies & ice cream for dessert. Then we watched our video of us running all over Grand Rapids. It was a good night :)
